National institute of Miners’ Health invited application for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant, Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 27 May 2013.

- 1. Name of the post: Scientific Assistant (Occupational Hygiene)

Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 5200- 20200 with grade pay of Rs.2800
Educational Qualification: M.Sc./MIH with 1 year experience or B.Sc. with 3 years experience in the Environmental/ Industrial Hygiene. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in evaluation of physical and ergonomic hazards and work in mines.
- 2. Name of the post: SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biochemistry /Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology. Experience: Three years research experience. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience in Proteomic studies.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Physics or MIH / B.E. /B. Tech in Environmental Engineering. Experience: Three years experience in environmental research. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having Research experience in noise modelling/ mapping.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology. Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in relevant fields.

Pay Scale: Rs 14000/ + 20% HRA
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Physics/ Geo informatics or M.E. /M. Tech in Geo informatics / GIS based system/ remote sensing. Preference will be given to the candidates having work experience.
- 6. Name of the post: Project Assistant
No. of post- 5Posts
Age limit: 28 Years
Pay Scale: Rs 10000/- consoildated
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science /diploma in engineering discipline /diploma in medical laboratory technology or health related subjects. Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in mines.
Application fee
- Candidates should pay the application fee of Rs.200/- in the form of demand draft for the post in Sl. No. 1.
- And Rs. 100/- for the post in Sl. No. 2, 3 , 4 , 5 & 6 drawn in favour of National Institute of Miners’ Health, payable at Nagpur.
- SC/ST/PH are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of written test/interview.
